How then do we use seeds or what are they for? • To give birth or produce something (james1:15) ○ “And God said, Behold, I have given you every plant/flower bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.” ‭‭Genesis‬ ‭1:29‬ ‭KJV‬‬ • To help you grow? What type of seed do we have naturally i.e. • Thorns & Thistles (Genesis 3:18) • Fruits seed or trees • Weeds & Wheat (Matthew 13:24-43) • Grass (1Peter 1:24) • Bamboo trees seed How to cultivate seeds, make sure its good? • Examine the seed • Examine the ground (Luke 8:4-11) • Monitor how u water it (1 Corinthians 3:6-9) Pause: God, why do I need to know about seeds. Because, the seed of your life has produced who you are and are becoming!  Scripture tells us in Luke 6:43-45 (KJV): "For a good tree bringeth not forth corrupt fruit; neither doth a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. For every tree is known by his own fruit. For of thorns men do not gather figs, nor of a bramble bush gather they grapes."No good tree bears bad fruit, nor does a bad tree bear good fruit.44 Each tree is recognized by its own fruit. People do not pick figs from thornbushes, or grapes from briers. 45 A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of. Luke 8:11 (KJV): "Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God." If then, the seed is the word of God why then are not all people subject to a good life? Context without Pretext: Luke 8:1-11 "One day Jesus told a story in the form of a parable to a large crowd that had gathered from many towns to hear him: "A farmer went out to plant his seed. As he scattered it across his field, some seed fell on a footpath, where it was stepped on, and the birds ate it. Other seed fell among rocks. It began to grow, but the plant soon wilted and died for lack of moisture. Other seed fell among thorns that grew up with it and choked out the tender plants. Still other seed fell on fertile soil. This seed grew and produced a crop that was a hundred times as much as had been planted!" When he had said this, he called out, "Anyone with ears to hear should listen and understand." His disciples asked him what this parable meant. He replied, "You are permitted to understand the secrets of the Kingdom of God. But I use parables to teach the others so that the Scriptures might be fulfilled: 'When they look, they won't really see. When they hear, they won't understand.' "This is the meaning of the parable: The seed is the Word of God." The Product of Our Life is Define By The Process Not The Seed. The harvest is not dictated by the seed but the process. "Process" means the necessary changes, tasks, or conditional cycles set in place to produce a certain result. The seeds that are placed in our life may be bad but the process of growth can change the harvest. We must begin to realize that not only does planting or not planting the seed matters, but how we grow and cultivate the tree matters as well. Even as we look at the things concerning our children, our relationships and marriages, or even careers. SEED matters. Yes, you can be late. That is a small seed. the problem is you can't continue to plant those small seeds and expect to reap a harvest of promotions. Especially if you don't have other good seed to encounter-act those seeds of tardiness. There are three important times in your life that everyone should have. SEED, TREE, & FRUIT.
