In the beginning of the year God instructed me to speaking on how to increase and #LEVELUP in 2017. He says in order to have a prosperous year we have to learn to obey his Words in gain finances and maintaining it with stewardship. Stated in Proverbs 3:9-10 "Honor the Lord with your wealth And with the first fruits of all your crops (income); Then your barns will be abundantly filled And your vats will overflow with new wine. Well with that being said I want to allow this to be your progress report, or self evaluation on how you are progressing in you process of being elevated. Why? Because we are going into a new season. (How can you say that Prophet?) Many people think when we enter a new year, we enter a new season. Indeed, that is slightly true. However, I would like to mention that it's interesting how we go into a new year within the same season. We transition into a new calendar, into new conditions but our season, our situations often times are the same. Notice we went from 2016 into 2017. It was winter in December 2016 but winter is just now ending and it's March 2017. It was cold when i walked out of 2016 and its cold in the middle of March in 2017. In the beginning of the year God instructed me to speaking on how to increase and #LEVELUP in 2017. He says in order to have a prosperous year we have to learn to obey his Words in gain finances and maintaining it with stewardship. S

"Might i suggest 'Situations are Seasonal but every Season has an expiration date." Genesis 8:22 NLT says - "As long as the earth remains, there will be planting and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night.” Most of us believe the simply truth "we reap what we sow". However, what many of us do not know is 'we rarely reap in the same season in which you sowed'. Why? Because the two must happen at two different time. The Bible says in Ecclesiastes 3:1‭-‬2 "There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens: a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot." Therefore, I want to raise a question. If everything you are going through has a season, does that mean every season you go through is a result of a previous season or seed? Of course, it is. Everything that you are going through right now is a result of a seed youth previously sow. Nevertheless, I'm here to discuss the First Fruit Seed/Offering, which is different from other seeds or offering. How, you may ask? Well, the First Fruit offering is the appreciation seed for the harvest owed back to the origin of the seed. What do you mean Prophet? "Your First Fruit, is the first and best piece of the crop offered back to God in worship and appreciate at that the rest of the harvest is fruitful."

"Every seed has a harvest, but not every harvest is fruitful." Here's an example: first fruit would be you giving God the best (fat) portion of your first check. Why do you say a fat portion? In order to learn about worship and giving properly to God you have to go back to the origin of giving; Cain and Abel. They were the first two individuals in the Bible to be mention giving a sacrifice or offering to God as a form of worship. Genesis 4:1‭-‬5 KJV

  • And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the Lord . And she again bare his brother Abel. And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground. And in process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the Lord . And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the Lord had respect unto Abel and to his offering: But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell.

Since the beginning of time sacrifices have been made in honor of God. Before the "principles of giving" of was establish, sacrificing to God or another person was a term of embrace or worship. Before tithing, burnt offerings, peace or sin offering were legislated; first fruit were given out of appreciation for the harvest that was received. Whatever God gave them, they felt a need to honor or show appreciation to God by giving something back. You know like how people use to give someone gas money if they dropped you off somewhere for free? Which is why we have to get back to the basics. We have strayed away from thing like that which is why I believe God legislated the fellowship offering; or in other words the peace or love offering. Notice, that when giving a sacrificial offering was legislated in Leviticus 1 there were five main types or times of offerings.

  • The burnt offering

  • The fellowship/ peace or love offering

  • The grain offering

  • The guilt or trespass offering

  • The sin offering

Nevertheless, back to me point; the first point of giving a first fruit is it must be done out of appreciation and it must be the best/fat portion of your harvest. It's is a gift from the manifestation of your first seed. Your first fruit seed is giving back to God; in first priority, what He has blessed you with. For example: if you sow a seed for a promotion or increase in your crop. Once the manifestation of that seed come, you we're obligated to give the first portion (a fat portion) of the increase pay you received, or show appreciate for that elevation through giving... Now I know what you're thinking, "is that considered tithing?" No. Your First Fruit and Tithe are different...

Join me next week as we discussed how your First Fruit and Tithe differ...

i want to challenging you to be a doer and not just a hearer of the Word. So be sure to click on the giving link to sow your First Fruit Seed any time this month.Listen, I want to challenge you to give a First Fruit offering. I understand you may have the full teaching. I understand this sometimes seems like a waste of time and money. However, I want to assure you - it is not. God told Abraham, I will give you many of children and make your offspring numerous but Abraham laughed thinking it wasn't possible because his wife could not conceive. (Her ground/womb could not produce at that time.) Eventually after scattering so many seeds, He was finally able to deposit seed into her and she conceived. After that he reaps a harvest, Issac. Issac grows and develops for a season or two. Then God says go give me your best fruit. Give me the first fruit of the harvest you received in the latter season. "Your first fruit offering is not your tithe nor your burnt offering. Your first fruit is a portion back to God in appreciation for the Harvest that you brought in." Your tithes are owed to God, your monthly partnership is owed to God, but your first fruit is something that you offer back in return of a having a fruitful harvest. Sometimes, we sow a gift for a harvest (new job) but then we neglect to give the first fruit (a token of honor or appreciation) back to God for his blessing. Therefore I am
